00:00:13: It was with these words that on fourth June nineteen forty Winston Churchill Prime Minister of The United Kingdom Concluded his address to Parliament at A time when the military situation seemed desperate in a total war against one of the deadliest dictatorships in history.

00:00:41: These words are my motto, and my guiding principle.

00:00:46: I helped found the cosmopolitical cooperative because i do not give up And I never will On fighting for a better world even In the face Of the existential threats our societies Are facing today.

00:01:07: A Better World For My Fellow Citizens my town, in my country.

00:01:15: In the European Union and across the world but also for My nine-year old daughter For her generation And for all the generations that will follow.

00:01:30: Because if I give up If i do not Do everything in my power to improve The situation then I am complicit in a Catastrophe on scale beyond any in history, towards which we are collectively hurtling if everything continues as usual.

00:01:58: I want no part of that under any circumstances.

00:02:05: This podcast forms parts my contribution As a founding member of the Cosmopolitical Cooperative to the creation this better future.

00:02:18: In it i will address three themes the challenge, objective and way forward.

00:02:27: The Challenge is my personal understanding of all difficulties we face in the twenty-first century.

00:02:38: The Objective is a description for deeply just, sustainable, democratic society that the Cosmopolitical Cooperative proposes.

00:02:55: society of agreement.

00:02:58: I hope it will be appealing enough that you and others, we'll be inspired to make this a reality!

00:03:06: And finally the way forward – here i would describe tools both institutional & software based That were put in place within the Cosmopolitical Cooperative with which are working on small autonomous and freely formed teams to make our vision of the future this deeply just, sustainable democratic and happy society-of-agreement a reality.
